Harvest Mission’s
Cows for Widows Project Expands

LION is walking beside Harvest Mission on this project. We and our supporters have partnered with them for two years, so far.

The fundraising campaign for our Cows for Widows 2022 Project has ended. More widows were supplied with cows because of the generosity of our partners! Continue to pray for this life-changing project.

After prayer and dialogue with the widows who have been part of the successful Cows for Widows program, it was decided to extend this "cow program" to pastors and leaders who often migrate north 4-5 months each year in order to support their families at home during the winter/non-harvest season. This leaves a huge leadership vacuum for their fellowships. With the help of the widows, the goal will be 20 more cows for leaders within the next six months (by May 2024). Hopefully, this will prevent all leader migration next year.
